Real-world training - every dog that comes here for training gets to enjoy frequent training field trips. This ensures that any training they learn will stick, as they get to practice it in multiple environments.
Regular private lessons - unlike most programs, where you send your dog away for a month or two and can’t see them, we integrate scheduled private lessons with you throughout our program. Every two weeks, we will come to your house or meet you at a local pet friendly location so you still get to practice working with your dog. This makes the process of transitioning after training exponentially easier!
Off Leash Board & Train
Give your dog the ultimate life of freedom and fulfillment in just 6 weeks! In this program, your dog will learn bombproof obedience (sit, down, place), leash manners, and complete off leash reliability! Whether your goal is to hike with your dog, take them to the lake house, or simply have them relax at a patio or brewery with you on the weekends, this program is the solution for many dog owners.
Who qualifies? Dogs must be at least 6 months old, with no major displays of fear/anxiety or aggression. Reactivity to a certain point is okay, as well as minor nuisance behaviors such as barking, jumping, nipping, counter surfing, etc
Cost: $4800 (split into two installments)
Behavior Modification Board & Train
Marvelous K9 is a judgement free safe space when it comes to owners struggling with aggressive, anxious, or highly reactive dogs. And we’re thrilled to let you know that there is hope!
Behavior modification is our bread and butter. We embrace the dogs who lunge on walks, snap at guests, or have complicated feelings about other dogs, and we help them heal.
This immersive program allows us to get deep into the root of your dog’s problem behavior and dedicate the time and patience to help them grow into their best selves.
In 6 to 8 weeks (depending on the extent of the behavior), your dog will get a complete fresh start. They will develop healthy outlets, clear and fair communication, as well as reliable obedience and manners, both in and outside of the home.
There’s no need to feel like your dog is a lost cause or can’t be helped. We’ve seen some pretty extreme cases over the years, and we’re very proud of our success rate!
Who qualifies? Dogs of any age who display moderate to extreme examples of reactivity, aggression, or anxiety (separation anxiety, confinement anxiety, fear of people, etc), dogs who have bitten a person and drew blood (this does not necessarily include playful or puppy nipping), dogs who have gotten in fights with or attacked other dogs, and dogs who become aggressive during grooming, either professional or at home. This includes but isn’t limited to: biting grooming clippers, attacking the water or blowdryer, and biting during and/or requiring sedation for nail trims.
Depending on the severity or frequency of your dog’s behavior, we may require of vet visit before training begins to rule our any underlying pain or illness that could be causing issues.
Cost: $7000 (split into two installments)
